WARRANTY INFORMATION

We stand behind the quality of our work with comprehensive warranties to protect your investment

At Pool Pros, we take pride in delivering exceptional quality and workmanship. Our warranty program is designed to give you peace of mind and protect your investment in your backyard oasis.

All warranties are provided in writing at the time of contract signing and vary based on the scope of work, materials used, and equipment installed. Below is an overview of our standard warranty coverage.

Workmanship Warranty

1-Year Comprehensive Workmanship Coverage

All new pool construction and major remodeling projects include a comprehensive workmanship warranty covering:

  • Installation quality and techniques
  • Plumbing connections and fittings
  • Electrical work performed by Pool Pros
  • Tile and coping installation
  • Deck and hardscape construction
  • Equipment installation

If defects in workmanship appear within the warranty period, we will repair or correct them at no additional charge to you.

Structural Warranty

10-Year Pool Shell Structural Warranty

The structural integrity of your pool shell is covered for 10 years, including:

  • Concrete/gunite shell structural failures
  • Major cracks affecting pool integrity
  • Leaks caused by structural defects (not normal wear or damage)
  • Bond beam and coping structural issues

Note: Structural warranty does not cover surface finishes (plaster, aggregate), cosmetic cracks that don't affect structural integrity, or damage caused by ground movement, earthquakes, or improper maintenance.

Equipment Warranties

Pool equipment carries manufacturer warranties, which we honor and facilitate. Warranty periods vary by manufacturer and equipment type:

Pumps & Motors

Typically 1-3 years manufacturer warranty depending on model and brand

Filters

1-3 years on filter tanks; filter media not typically covered

Heaters

1-5 years depending on heater type (gas, electric, heat pump)

Automation Systems

1-3 years manufacturer warranty on control systems and components

Salt Systems & Sanitizers

1-3 years; cells typically 1-2 years or prorated based on usage

LED Lighting

1-5 years depending on manufacturer; LED bulbs often have longer warranties

Pool Pros will assist with warranty claims and coordinate with manufacturers on your behalf. Installation of equipment by Pool Pros is required for warranty coverage.

Surface Finishes & Materials

Plaster Finishes

Standard white plaster: 1-2 year warranty against defects in materials and application. Note that discoloration, staining, and minor imperfections are normal and not covered.

Aggregate Finishes (Pebble, Quartz)

3-5 year warranty depending on product. Manufacturer warranty covers delamination and major defects but not normal wear, staining, or discoloration.
